Objectives: To measure adherence over six months of progestin-only pill (POP) use.

Study Design: Prospective observational cohort study measuring adherence to daily dosing and timing of dose in patients prescribed a POP, with up to six months of follow-up, conducted from January to October 2020. A pharmacy benefit manager identified potential participants with a newly prescribed POP and extended an invitation to participate.

Systematic reviews are labor-intensive processes to combine all knowledge about a given topic into a coherent summary. Despite the high labor investment, they are necessary to create an exhaustive overview of current evidence relevant to a research question. In this work, we evaluate three state-of-the-art supervised multi-label sequence classification systems to automatically identify 24 different experimental design factors for the categories of Animal, Dose, Exposure, and Endpoint from journal articles describing the experiments related to toxicity and health effects of environmental agents.

We describe the instantaneous fabrication of a highly porous three-dimensional (3D) nanostructured manganese oxides-reduced graphitic oxide (MnO -rGO) electrode by using a pulse-photonic processing technique. Such nanostructures facilitate the movement of ions/electrons and offer an extremely high surface area for the electrode/electrolyte interaction. The electrochemical performance was investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV), galvanostatic charge-discharge (GCD) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) with 1 M KOH as the electrolyte.

The directed differentiation of pluripotent stem cells to a desired lineage often involves complex and lengthy protocols. In order to study the requirements for differentiation in a systematic way, we present here methodology for an iterative approach using combinations of small molecules and biological factors. The factors are used in a cyclical process in which the best combination of factors and concentrations is selected in one round of testing, followed by a modification of the combination and subsequent rounds.
