Unlabelled: Bacterial genomic mutations in have been detected in isolated resistant clinical strains, yet their mechanistic effect on the development of antimicrobial resistance remains unclear. The resistance-associated regulatory systems acquire adaptive mutations under stress conditions that may lead to a gain of function effect and contribute to the resistance phenotype. Here, we investigate the effect of a single-point mutation (T331I) in VraS histidine kinase, part of the VraSR two-component system in VraSR senses and responds to environmental stress signals by upregulating gene expression for cell wall synthesis.

To examine the impact of miR-433-3p on glucocorticoid-mediated bone loss, transgenic mice expressing a miR-433-3p tough decoy inhibitor in the osteoblast lineage were administered prednisolone via slow-release pellets. Bone loss was greater in control mice treated with prednisolone compared with miR-433-3p tough decoy mice due to higher osteoclast activity in the controls.

Symptomatic dengue has a wide clinical spectrum ranging from self-limiting infection to severe manifestations, mostly characterized by plasma leakage with or without hemorrhage. World Health Organization classification in 2009 classified dengue into dengue without warning signs, dengue with warning signs, and severe dengue.

We assessed the potential of the mHealth integrated model of hypertension, diabetes, and ANC EDSS and the World Health Organization EDSS to improve the quality of ANC in primary-level health care facilities in Nepal.
Methods: From December 2021 to January 2023, we conducted a mixed-methods evaluation in 19 primary-level ANC facilities in Bagmati Province, Nepal.
