Neurodevelopmental and Growth Follow-Up of an Infant Exposed to Rosuvastatin by Lactation: A Case Report.

Usage of some medications while breastfeeding is supported with many clinical studies and proven to be safe for the mother-infant dyad, whereas knowledge on many medications' safety depends on pharmacokinetic data that are supported with only case series of real-life results. As data on rosuvastatin usage are limited, we present our case report with safe use of rosuvastatin in a breastfeeding mother of a 13-month-old infant. Pretreatment assessments of the infant were performed.

Should Breastfeeding Be Interrupted after Radiological Imaging Examinations? Evidence and Clinical Applications.

: Breastfeeding provides optimal growth and development for infants. Lactating mothers may have challenges maintaining breastfeeding, and one of those challenges is being falsely advised to interrupt breastfeeding following radiologic studies. The aim of this study was to evaluate the knowledge, attitudes and experiences of healthcare professionals regarding breastfeeding after radiological imaging studies on lactating mothers.

Factors Affecting the Implementation and Acceptance of the Cocoon Strategy in the NICU in a Tertiary Center in Türkiye.

Pertussis is an important cause of mortality and morbidity in infancy. It is recommended that close contacts of the baby be vaccinated with Tdap, and this practice is called the cocoon strategy. This study aimed to investigate the applicability of the cocoon strategy and to determine the factors affecting the process.

Exploration of Flexible Pes Planus as a Potential Risk Factor for Cardiac Pathologies in Pediatric Cases.

Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between flexible pes planus (FPP) and cardiac pathologies in pediatric patients, with a particular emphasis on hypermobility status.

Methods: Between January and June 2022, a retrospective screening was conducted on a total of 68 patients aged between 6 and 18 years who had been diagnosed with FPP. Eight patients were excluded from the study due to suspicion of connective tissue or neuromuscular diseases following systemic examinations conducted by a pediatric specialist.

Objective: Rates of obesity have risen steeply in the western world in all age groups. Sluggish Cognitive Tempo (SCT) is characterized by a cluster of symptoms. Daytime sleepiness, commonly seen in obesity, may share a similar origin with sleepiness and daydreaming symptoms of SCT.
