Developing nonprecious metal-based electrocatalysts with exceptional activity and durability for water electrolysis remains a significant challenge. Herein, we report a highly efficient bifunctional electrocatalyst composed of sulfur-doped vanadium metal-organic frameworks (S@V-MOF) integrated with multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) to promote the synergistic effect between S@V-MOF and MWCNTs and modulate the electronic structure of the catalyst, which eventually enhanced its electrocatalytic performance. The S@V-MOF/MWCNT catalyst loaded at the Ni foam electrode exhibits remarkable activity for both the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) in acidic media and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) in alkaline media, requiring overpotentials of 48 and 227 mV, respectively, to reach a current density of 10 mA cm.

Background: The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has had a severe impact on global health. Apart from the disease itself, the strict restrictions and lockdowns enforced to minimize its spread have also substantially disrupted personal and public health.
Methods: An analysis of forensic autopsy investigations was conducted between 2019 and 2022 on a selected urban population in Colombo, Sri Lanka, assessing the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on mortality within these communities.
During the transition to adulthood, individuals diagnosed with intellectual disability (ID) and their family caregivers have unique experiences. This scoping review studies the sources of the family caregiver's objective burden, support, coping mechanisms, positive caregiving, and quality of life to understand the caregiver's adaptation process when the individual with ID transits to adulthood, according to Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) Scoping Review methodology guidelines. The inclusion criteria included studies of family caregivers of any age who provide unpaid care and live with individuals diagnosed with ID who are transitioning to adulthood.

Introduction: Tibial non-unions present with complex deformities, bone loss, infection, leg length discrepancy (LLD), and other features which influence function. Circular frame-based treatment is popular with the hexapod system used increasingly. This systematic review aims to determine the clinical and radiological outcomes of hexapod fixation when used for tibial non-unions.

Methods: Using a local hip fracture database managed by the senior author over a 32 year period, those who underwent osteosynthesis following intracapsular fractures were assessed for risk of development of non-union and osteonecrosis. Multivariate regression analysis was performed focusing on factors that were predictive of complications.
