Scutellarein, a flavone found in the perennial herb Scutellaria baicalensis, has a wide range of pharmacological actions, such as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and neuroprotective. Increasing evidence has emphasized the developing significance of scutellarein in several neurological illnesses, such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease, cerebral ischemia, and neuroblastoma. This review is centered on the molecular processes that underlie the neuroprotective properties of scutellarein in various neurological disorders, as indicated by recent pre-clinical research.

Immunization saves millions of lives, and globally, vaccines have significantly contributed to reducing mortality and morbidity due to more than 20 life-threatening illnesses. However, there are considerable disparities in vaccination coverage among countries and within populations. This study evaluates the reduction in disparities in vaccination coverage across various socio-economic groups by adopting an integrated community-engagement approach combined with maternal and child health services through mobile health camps.

Background: Primary health care (PHC) services face operational challenges due to high patient volumes, leading to complex management needs. Patients access services through booked appointments and walk-in visits, with walk-in visits often facing longer waiting times. No-show appointments are significant contributors to inefficiency in PHC operations, which can lead to an estimated 3%-14% revenue loss, disrupt resource allocation, and negatively impact health care quality.

The burgeoning field of nanomedicine is exploring quantum dots for cancer theranostics. In recent years, chemically engineered copper sulfide (CuS) quantum dots (QDs) have emerged as a multifunctional platform for fluorescence-based sensors with prominent applications in imaging and chemodynamic therapy of tumor cells. The present study demonstrates the sustainable synthesis of nitrogen-embedded copper sulfide (N@CuS) quantum dots for the first time and unveils their potential application in in vitro and in vivo breast cancer management.

Metal batteries have captured significant attention for high-energy applications, owing to their superior theoretical energy densities. However, their practical viability is impeded by severe dendrite formation and poor cycling stability. To alleviate these issues, a 3D-structured bimetallic-MoTiCT based fiber electrode was fabricated in this study and analyzed experimentally and computationally.
