Myotonic dystrophy type 1 (DM1) is a dominantly inherited multi-system disease caused by expanded CTG repeats in the 3' untranslated region of the dystrophia myotonica protein kinase (DMPK) gene. Similar to other repeat disorders, the expanded trinucleotide repeat is unstable and demonstrates a tendency to increase repeat size with age in affected tissues. DNA mismatch repair system is implicated in somatic instability.

We developed a novel Pharus method for exactly locating the point Aa for RSC.
Methods: In the Pharus method, the tip of a rigid endoscope was placed directly on the vaginal point Aa.
The 3-hydroxypropionate/4-hydroxybutyrate (3HP/4HB) cycle from ammonia-oxidizing Thaumarchaeota is currently considered the most energy-efficient aerobic carbon fixation pathway. The Nitrosopumilus maritimus 4-hydroxybutyryl-CoA synthetase (ADP-forming; Nmar_0206) represents one of several enzymes from this cycle that exhibit increased efficiency over crenarchaeal counterparts. This enzyme reduces energy requirements on the cell, reflecting thaumarchaeal success in adapting to low-nutrient environments.

Despite the increased use of LLMs, disparities in their performance particularly in different languages, remain underexplored. This study examines the quality of ChatGPT responses in English and Japanese, specifically to questions related to anaesthesiology.

The phosphorylation of the tau protein has been linked to its dissociation from microtubules. Here, we examined the relationship between neuronal depolarization activity and tau protein phosphorylation by employing model systems in culture as well as in vivo.
