Repeat Next-Generation Sequencing (15-Gene Panel) in Unifocal, Synchronous, and Metachronous Non-Small-Cell Lung Cancer-A Single-Center Experience.

In advanced non-squamous non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC), routine testing with next-generation sequencing (NGS) is recommended to identify actionable genomic alterations (AGAs). The therapeutic implications of repeated NGS testing on synchronous and metachronous tumors are unclear. Between February 2017 and October 2020, NSCLC samples from a single institution were reflex-tested using a targeted 15-gene NGS panel (TruSight Tumor 15, Illumina).

Challenges in treatment of gestational trophoblastic neoplasia in patients with MTHFR mutation: A case report.

•We present a case of a patient with post molar pregnancy who has a MTHFR C677T mutation.•The mutation led to an alteration of recommended chemotherapy regimen.•No studies have reported treatment recommendations pertaining to gyn malignancies in patients with MTHFR allele.

Association between anthropometric criteria and body composition among children aged 6-59 months with severe acute malnutrition: a cross-sectional assessment from India.

A multicentric study is being conducted in which children with severe acute malnutrition (SAM) aged 6-59 months are identified with only weight-for-height z-score (WHZ) < - 3 criteria. The present study aimed to assess associations of anthropometric parameters and body composition parameters, to improve treatment of SAM. We conducted a cross-section assessment using the enrolment data of children who participated in a multi-centric longitudinal controlled study from five Indian states.

Efficacy of platelet-rich plasma in treatment of androgenic alopecia.

Background: Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) has shown remarkable beneficial effects without any major adverse reactions in the treatment of androgenic alopecia. The growth factors in activated autologous PRP induce the proliferation of dermal papilla cells.

Objectives: The objective was to investigate the clinical efficacy of PRP in treatment of androgenic alopecia.

Clinical and bacteriological study of urethral discharge.

A clinics-bacteriological study of 52 patients with urethritis was carried out. All the patients were evaluated clinically and bacteriologically at the beginning and end of the treatment. Majority of the patients belonged to the age group 21-30 years (58%).
