Background: Health systems face competing demands when implementing health sector reforms. While health equity principles are generally promoted during reform discussions, they are often deprioritised during implementation. This qualitative study aimed to (1) identify how implementers and designers expected health equity to be included in the implementation of a place-based health system reform initiative, and (2) identify factors that influenced prioritisation of health equity during early implementation.

The common method of measuring total serum bilirubin (TSB) levels involves invasive blood testing, which is time-consuming and uncomfortable for neonates. While noninvasive transcutaneous bilirubinometers (TcB) are available, that often lack accuracy due to interference from other biological chromophores.

It is agnostic as to the nature and identity of the target molecules. The current in vivo biopanning lacks inbuilt mechanisms to select for peptides capable of vascular homing that would also be capable of tissue penetration to reach therapeutically relevant cells in the tissue parenchyma.

We assessed whether neighbourhood greenness and walkability were independently and jointly associated with transportational (PA) and recreational (PA) physical activity among a nationally representative sample of urban-dwelling youth and adults in Canada.
Methods: We analyzed repeated cross-sectional data from 132,927 urban-dwelling youth (12-17 years) and adults (≥18 years) who participated in the Canadian Community Health Survey (2015-2018).
