Anode Free Zinc-Metal Batteries (AFZMBs): A New Paradigm in Energy Storage.

In the past few years, aqueous zinc-metal batteries (ZMBs) have gained much attention and can be regarded as a potential alternative to lithium-metal batteries owing to their high safety, nature of abundance, and environmental sustainability. However, several challenges persist, including dendrite formation, corrosion, and unwanted side reactions, before ZMBs can be fully utilized in practical applications. To circumvent these issues, anode free zinc-metal batteries (AFZMBs) have emerged as a next-generation energy storage system.

Enhanced rivastigmine delivery through nanoemulsion and pyridoxine supplementation: An in-vivo study on Alzheimer's disease intervention.

Nanoemulsions are nanostructured material and stabilized colloidal in nature evolved as a highly desirable mechanism for the delivery of drugs. Our objective of the study deals with a successful Rivastigmine (RSG) loaded nanoemulsion which can effectively progress the treatment of AD patients. We developed nanoemulsion containing RSG by combining pyridoxine, an essential vitamin supplement for central nervous system development, with linseed oil, which functioned as the lipophilic phase in the nanoemulsion formulation.

Deformation and Collectivity in Doubly Magic ^{208}Pb.

Lead-208 is the heaviest known doubly magic nucleus and its structure is therefore of special interest. Despite this magicity, which acts to provide a strong restorative force toward sphericity, it is known to exhibit both strong octupole correlations and some of the strongest quadrupole collectivity observed in doubly magic systems. In this Letter, we employ state-of-the-art experimental equipment to conclusively demonstrate, through four Coulomb-excitation measurements, the presence of a large, negative, spectroscopic quadrupole moment for both the vibrational octupole 3_{1}^{-} and quadrupole 2_{1}^{+} state, indicative of a preference for prolate deformation of the states.

Timely control of bleeding is crucial to reduce mortality in traumatic injuries, highlighting the urgent need for biomaterials with anti-hemorrhagic properties. Polycaprolactone (PCL) is commonly used for producing nanofibers in the range of 100-200 nm. However, creating ultrafine PCL nanofibers with diameters below 100 nm remains a challenge, limiting its potential as a hemostatic bandage.
