Background: Several pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PA) biomarkers beyond the traditional carbohydrate antigen (CA)19-9 have been identified but are lacking large-scale prospective validation. This prospective cohort study evaluated the prognostic impact of potential PA biomarkers.
Methods: We enrolled 238 of 288 patients with histologically proven PA.
The biliary system is crucial for liver function, regulating bile production, secretion, and transport. Dysfunctions within this system can lead to various diseases, such as cholangiopathies and biliary fibrosis, which may progress from benign to malignant states like cholangiocarcinoma. While liver organoid research is well-established and technologically advanced, bile duct organoids (BDOs) offer significant potential.

Therefore, based on subsequent advancements in perioperative management, this randomized, controlled, open-label, single-center study aimed to assess the impact of a recent evidence-based multimodal enhanced recovery after surgery program on the quality of early recovery after gastric cancer surgery.
Materials And Methods: This study included adult patients scheduled to undergo elective laparoscopic or robotic distal gastrectomy for gastric cancer.
Background: Patients with neuropathic pain (NP), caused by injury or disease of the somatosensory nervous system, usually suffer from severe pain. Our previous studies revealed that electroacupuncture (EA) stimulation could effectively improve NP. However, the underlying mechanisms of EA have not been fully clarified.
