Background And Objectives: For the planning of surgical procedures involving the bony reconstruction of the mandible, the autologous iliac crest graft, along with the fibula graft, has become established as a preferred donor region. While computer-assisted planning methods are increasingly gaining importance, the necessary preparation of geometric data based on CT imaging remains largely a manual process. The aim of this work was to develop and test a method for the automated segmentation of the iliac crest for subsequent reconstruction planning.

These nanocomposites significantly enhance the mechanical strength, electrical conductivity, and bioactivity of hydrogels, making them highly effective for drug delivery, tissue engineering (TE), bioinks for 3D Bioprinting, and wound healing applications. Graphene improves the mechanical and electrical properties of hydrogels, facilitating advanced tissue scaffolding and drug delivery systems.

Instead, using data from India, we investigated long-term exposure to PM and all-cause mortality with a causal inference method.
Methods: We collected national counts of annual mortality from 2009 to 2019 from the Civil Registration System at the district level to calculate annual district-level mortality rate as our main outcome and obtained annual PM concentrations from a high-resolution spatiotemporal model.
Introduction: India experiences high levels of air pollution as measured by fine particulate matter <2.5 μm (PM) across the country. With limited resources, it is imperative to identify the most impacted areas.

This study aimed to enhance the mechanical and biological properties of polyurethane (PU) by incorporating magnesium chloride (MgCl) into the patch.
Methodology: The composite patch was fabricated using the electrospinning technique, producing nanofibers from a mixture of PU and MgCl solutions.
