Molecular Design of Hole-Collecting Materials for Co-Deposition Processed Perovskite Solar Cells: A Tripodal Triazatruxene Derivative with Carboxylic Acid Groups.

High-performance and cost-effective hole-collecting materials (HCMs) are indispensable for commercially viable perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Here, we report an anchorable HCM composed of a triazatruxene core connected with three alkyl carboxylic acid groups (). In contrast to the phosphonic acid-containing tripodal analog (), molecules can form a hydrophilic monolayer on a transparent conducting oxide surface, which is beneficial for subsequent perovskite film deposition in the traditional layer-by-layer fabrication process.

Background/aims: Amitriptyline is prescribed off-label for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). We conducted a meta-analysis to assess its efficacy.

Methods: A systematic literature review was conducted until November 10, 2023, using MEDLINE, Embase, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science to study the efficacy of amitriptyline in patients with IBS.

Background: Surgical site infection (SSI) remains a challenge in healthcare, contributing to prolonged hospital stays, increased healthcare costs, and adverse patient outcomes, including mortality. Effective preoperative skin disinfection interventions, such as povidone-iodine (PVI) and chlorhexidine (CHG), are widely used but their efficacy remains debated. To address this gap, this meta-analysis aims to evaluate the efficacy of PVI and CHG.
