Individual differences in MI ability are widely documented but the role of experience in different activities in influencing MI is not well understood. Background: Nowhere is optimising healthcare staff retention more important than in primary health care (PHC) settings in remote Australia, where there are unacceptably high rates of staff burnout and turnover. Ensuing consequences for the remote health services and the community are acute - staffing shortfalls in clinics; organisational instability; excessive costs associated with frequent staff recruitment and orientation; diminished access to PHC for patients in need; and lack of continuity of patient care; all of which further entrench poor health outcomes for the community. Optimising remote healthcare staff retention is critical in order to provide high quality and continued PHC.

Medications for obesity have been studied in various populations over the past three decades. We aimed to quantify the baseline demographic characteristics of BMI, sex, age, and race in randomised clinical trials (RCTs) across three decades to establish whether the population studied is representative of the global population affected by the disease. Clinical trials of 12 medications for obesity (ie, orlistat, naltrexone-bupropion, topiramate-phentermine, liraglutide, semaglutide, lorcaserin, sibutramine, rimonabant, taranabant, tirzepatide, retatrutide, and orforglipron) published from Jan 20, 1999, to Nov 12, 2023, were assessed through a systematic review for methodological quality and baseline demographic characteristics.

We report the transfer of H-atoms from a reduced polyoxovanadate alkoxide [OctN][VO(OH)(OMe)] concerted proton-electron transfer. Oxygen reduction is compared between bridging and terminal O-H bonds revealing similar mechanisms, providing new insight to design criteria for metal-oxide electrocatalysts that faciliate oxygen reduction by concerted-proton electron transfer.

In this report, we describe proton-coupled electron transfer (PCET) reactivity at the surface of the Keggin-type polyoxotungstate cluster [BuN][PWO] () in acetonitrile. Bond dissociation free energies (BDFEs) of the O-H groups generated upon reduction of in the presence of acid are determined through the construction of a potential-p diagram. The surface O-H bonds are found to be weak (BDFE(O-H) < 48 kcal mol), comparable to the BDFE of H.
