Introduction: Allergic diseases could play a role of a predisposing factor for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The aim of this study was to investigate allergic comorbidity and its association in COVID-19 patients.
Methods: Demographic data, clinical manifestations, laboratory reports, and radiologic findings, together with underlying comorbidity of patients, were studies.
We have previously shown a delay of death by lymphoma in SJL/J mice irradiated with continuous very low doses of ionizing radiation. In order to understand the mechanisms involved in this phenomenon, we have irradiated in vitro the Raw264.7 monocytic and the YAC-1 lymphoma cell lines at very low-dose rate of 4cGy.

The present work studies the possibility of obtaining neural progenitor/stem cells from the temporal lobe and investigates their potential to differentiate into neuronal cells.
Methods: Human biopsies from the temporal lobe of epileptic patients were used to isolate potential neural progenitors.
Current understanding of chronic pain points a decrease in level of the inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA, in the spinal dorsal horn, leading to an imbalance between excitatory and inhibitory pathways. A subcloned derivative of the human NT2 cell line (hNT2.17) which, after neuronal differentiation, secretes different inhibitory neurotransmitters such as GABA and glycine has been recently isolated.

Cylindrical specimens of a common dental composite were cured and immersed for 48 h in 3 mL portions of human saliva and also some non-biologic media e.g.
