Background: The Clinical Genome Resource (ClinGen) is an international collaborative effort between scientists and clinicians, diagnostic and research laboratories as well as the patient community. Using a standardized framework, ClinGen has established guidelines to classify gene-disease relationships as Definitive, Strong, Moderate, and Limited based on available scientific and clinical evidence. When the genetic and functional evidence for a gene-disease relationship has conflicting interpretations or contradictory evidence, they can be Disputed or Refuted.

The mainstay of treatment consists of immunoglobulin replacement therapy (IgRT). As this cannot fully compensate for the immune defects in XLA, patients may therefore continue to be at risk of complications.

Background: The safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity of hyaluronidase-facilitated subcutaneous immunoglobulin (fSCIG) 10% (dual-vial unit of human immunoglobulin 10% and recombinant human hyaluronidase [rHuPH20]) were assessed in children with primary immunodeficiency diseases (PIDs).
Methods: This phase 4, post-authorization, prospective, interventional, multicenter study (NCT03116347) conducted in the European Economic Area, enrolled patients aged 2 to < 18 years with a documented PID diagnosis who had received immunoglobulin therapy for ≥ 3 months before enrollment. New fSCIG 10% starters underwent fSCIG 10% dose ramp-up for ≤ 6 weeks (epoch 1) before receiving fSCIG 10% for ≤ 3 years (epoch 2); patients pretreated with fSCIG 10% entered epoch 2 directly.
This prospective study examines the immune response to SARS-CoV-2 vaccination in patients with psychotic disorders compared with healthy volunteers. Participants were recruited naturalistically as part of the UK's COVID-19 vaccination programme. Prior to receiving their first COVID-19 vaccine, blood samples were provided by participants to examine anti-SARS-CoV-2 immunoglobulins (IgG) at baseline, followed by a repeat assay 1 month after receiving their first vaccine to assess vaccine response.
