Hexavalent chromium (Cr (VI)) contamination poses a significant threat to environmental and human health due to its ability to induce oxidative stress. Conventional strategies to counter Cr (VI)-induced oxidative stress, like antioxidants and chelating agents, face efficacy limitations and adverse effects.
