Background: Congenital hypoplasia of the depressor labii inferioris muscle can lead to Asymmetrical crying facies(ACF). The objective of this research was to examine the alterations in both static and dynamic facial symmetry following the resection of the depressor labii inferioris on the healthy side through an intraoral approach.

Methods: Patients exhibiting palsy of the depressor labii inferioris muscles were included in the study.

The genus have long been recognized as a source of structural novel, pharmaceutically relevant natural products. We reviewed the structures and activities of secondary metabolites isolated from the genus of from January 1995 to June 2024, and 280 compounds, including six major categories-terpenoids, alkaloids, polyketides, polyphenols, steroids, and other classes-are presented in this review. Among these metabolites, 196 were identified as new structures.

Objective: Diabetic nephropathy (DN), characterized by a complex and multifaceted pathogenesis, stands as the foremost catalyst behind end-stage renal disease (ESRD). This study aims to analyze the level and non-metabolic role of glomerular aldolase B (ALDOB) in DN progression.

Methods: Glomerular proteomics and transcriptome are analyzed from 50 DN patients and 25 controls, respectively.
