Objective: To describe breastfeeding prevalence and maternal experience in infants with trisomy 21.
Design: Longitudinal cohort study.
Setting: Participants from UK recruited through websites, social media and local collaborators: neonatologists, community paediatricians and research nurses.
Objective: With one in five children in England living with obesity, we mapped the geographical distribution and format of child weight management services provided by acute National Health Service (NHS) trusts across England, to identify breadth of service provision.
Design: A cross-sectional survey.
Setting: The survey was sent to acute NHS trusts (n=148) in England in 2020, via a freedom of information request.
Background: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) funds the Colorectal Cancer Control Program (CRCCP) to increase colorectal cancer (CRC) screening rates in primary care clinics by implementing evidence-based interventions (EBIs). This study examined differences in clinic characteristics and implementation efforts among clinics with differential changes in screening rates over time.
Methods: CRCCP clinic data collected by the CDC were used.
Radionuclides released into the atmosphere following the Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Power Plant (FDNPP) accident were detected by ground-based monitoring stations worldwide. The inter-continental dispersion of radionuclides provides a unique opportunity to evaluate the ability of atmospheric dispersion models to represent the processes controlling their transport and deposition in the atmosphere. Co-located measurements of radioxenon (Xe) and caesium (Cs) concentrations enable individual physical processes (dispersion, dry and wet deposition) to be isolated.
