The antihypertensive efficacy and tolerability of formulations of enalapril and low (12.5 mg) and very low (6 mg) doses of hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ) were compared with enalapril and placebo. Four hundred and two patients with mild to moderate essential hypertension were treated with 20 mg enalapril for 8 weeks.

The CT appearance of hepatic infarction is only described in a few cases in the literature. The description is of well circumscribed areas of low-attenuation, often wedge-shaped and extending to the periphery of the liver. We present a case where infarction of the liver, caused by a dissecting aneurysm of the aorta, was diagnosed by CT-scanning.
