This paper presents an alternative approach to the Transformer Assessment Index (TAI) by proposing a relatively simple rating method called the Exploitation Perspective Index (EPI). The method provides two numerical indicators: the first reflects the overall technical condition of the particular unit, and the second shows the condition of the unit in the context of the entire fleet. The objective of the EPI method is to support the decision-making process regarding the technical condition assessment of each of the transformers in the target population, considering not only technical but also economic aspects of transformer maintenance.

Background: Transcutaneous afferent patterned stimulation (TAPS) is a prescription, wrist-worn device-delivered, non-invasive neuromodulation therapy for treatment of hand tremor in patients with essential tremor (ET). This retrospective post-market surveillance study evaluated real-world effectiveness of TAPS from patients using therapy on-demand for at least 90 days between August 2019 through June 2021.
Methods: Demographics were summarized from TAPS prescriptions received from the patient's healthcare provider.
A series of triphospha[3]ferrocenophanes of the type Fe(C H -PtBu) PX with X=H, F, Cl, Br, I, NEt , tBu has been prepared and characterized by heteronuclear NMR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography. Despite having three stereogenic centers, the selective formation of a reduced number of diastereomers (either one or two) has been observed for these ferrocenophanes. Theoretical calculations revealed that the inversion of the central stereogenic center inverts the frontier orbital sequence leading to either an iron or a phosphorus centered HOMO depending on the respective diastereomer.

Six patients were diagnosed with neurosarcoidosis and had electrophoresis of serum and cerebrospinal fluid performed (one patient with a ventriculoperitoneal shunt was later excluded). Cerebrospinal fluid immunoglobulins and albumin levels were determined followed by calculation of an IgG index and synthesis rate for each patient.
