[The satisfaction with rendering medical services of orthodontic profile to children of junior school age].

The article considers the results of complex medical sociological study including questionnaire survey of schoolchildren of junior age and their parents concerning issues of satisfaction with stomatological services. The data is presented concerning subjective opinions about quality and accessibility of stomatological care of orthodontic profile. The causes of dissatisfaction are established and ranged.

[Dental criteria for estimation of biological age in children and adolescents].

A complex assessment of health state in children and adolescents provides includes definition of a biological age, constitution and physical development harmony. One of the biological age assessment criteria is a «dental age" defined as a number of permanent teeth and their eruption time. Dental age was evaluated in 2057 children aged 7 to 17 years.

[Caries prevalence and incidence in 7-year-old children of Nizhny Novgorod].

Caries prevalence of temporary and constant teeth of the first class attendants of two schools located in different districts of the city was studied. Analysis of the risk factors influencing the disease was carried out. [Secondary dentition eruption terms as criterion of biological maturity of child organism].

Secondary dentition eruption terms were studied in children of the age groups from 6 to 18 years in 1980-2002. Tendencies of biological maturity were determined and necessity of existing norms changing was founded. New age related norms of permanent teeth number for boys and girls of different biological age were created.

[Changes in the quantitative composition of the microbial flora of dental deposits during the intensification of oral hygiene].

The efficacy of hygienic treatment of the oral cavity in combination with ozone therapy is assessed. This combination mechanically removes soft dental deposit and decreases bacterial contamination.
