Objective: Dental caries is one of the most prevalent chronic non-communicable diseases worldwide. There is a lack of evidence, especially in adult populations, documenting caries disease progression considering lesion severity, activity and tooth surface-level characteristics. It explores the evolution of students' understanding of global health specifically in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Methods: Ninety-nine students were selected from 123 McGill student applicants based on their motivation and commitment to take part in IPGHC's ten-week 2020 curriculum.
Ceramic samples based on β-calcium pyrophosphate β-CaPO were prepared from powders of γ-calcium pyrophosphate γ-CaPO with preset molar ratios Ca/P = 1, 0.975 and 0.95 using firing at 900, 1000, and 1100 °C.
