Higher lipophilicity facilitates the passage of a substance across lipid cell membranes, the blood-brain barrier and protein binding, and may also indicate its toxicity. We proposed eight methods for predicting the lipophilicity of the 22 most commonly used organophosphate pesticides. In this work, to determine the lipophilicity and thermodynamic parameters of the solvation of pesticides, we used methods of density functional theory with various basis sets, as well as modern Grimm methods.

The aim of this work is preparation and investigation of copper conductive paths by printing with a different type of functional ink. The solutions based on copper-containing complex compounds were used as inks instead of dispersions of metal nanoparticles. Thermal characteristics of synthesized precursors were studied by thermogravimetry in an argon atmosphere.

Aim: To study the peculiarities of carrying clinically significant allelic variants of TPMT and DPYD genes associated with the response to drug therapy in cancer practice among 9 ethnic groups of the Russian Federation.

Materials And Methods: The study included 1446 conditionally healthy volunteers from 9 ethnic groups. Carriage of polymorphic TPMT and DPYD gene markers was detected by the Real-Time PCR (polymerase chain reaction) method.

A characteristic feature of C4 plants is the differentiation of the photosynthetic leaf tissues into two distinct cell types: mesophyll (M) and bundle sheath (BS) cells. We have investigated several biochemical parameters, including pigment composition, polypeptide patterns, fluorescence at 77K, the activity of photosystems and ultrastructure of mesophyll and bundle sheath chloroplasts of maize (Zea mays L.) plants.
