The Role of Partnerships in Supporting COVID-19 Vaccine Uptake Among Migrants: A Qualitative Case Study from Tamil Nadu and Punjab, India.

Background: During the COVID-19 pandemic, migrant populations remained under-immunized due to limited access to health care, language barriers, and vaccine hesitancy. The USAID-funded MOMENTUM Routine Immunization Transformation and Equity project supported the government in collaborating with various local health and non-health partners to identify and vaccinate migrants. This case study examines the roles of project partners and the strategies each entity implemented to increase COVID-19 vaccine uptake among migrants, as well as the perceptions regarding the effectiveness of these strategies.

Fungal keratitis is a severe ocular infection caused by pathogenic fungi, leading to potential vision loss if untreated. Current antifungal treatments face limitations such as low solubility, poor corneal penetration, and limited therapeutic options. This study aimed to develop a thermosensitive in situ gel incorporating ketoconazole nanoparticles (NPs) to enhance drug solubility, stability, and antifungal activity.

Artificial intelligence improves bronchoscopy performance: a randomised crossover trial.

Rationale: Flexible bronchoscopy is an operator-dependent procedure. An automatic bronchial identification system based on artificial intelligence (AI) could help bronchoscopists to perform more complete and structured procedures through automatic guidance.

Methods: 101 participants were included from six different continents at the European Respiratory Society annual conference in Milan, 9-13 September 2023.
