How are highly trained movement sequences represented in long-term memory? Here we show that the gains attained in the performance of a well-trained sequence of finger movements can be expressed only when the order of the movements is exactly as practiced. Ten young adults were trained to perform a given 5-element sequence of finger-to-thumb opposition movements with their left hand. Movements were analyzed using video based tracking.

The necessity is considered to use a compositional approach to the assessment of life phenomena in biosphere instead of, and in practice, in addition to, the traditional reductional approach. From this viewpoint, the construction of logics from top to bottom, from life as an independent system in the biosphere, to system elements, as it is the case in biogeochemistry and the general biological theory, will also appear to be necessary for biogeophysics, if such interdisciplinary science is destined to emerge.

Transcranial electric stimulation (TES), a combination of direct and pulse current totally up to 5 mA, rectangular impulses lasting 3-4 ms at a frequency of 75-80 Mz, via frontal and retromastoid electrodes was carried out for 30 minutes every other day. The treatment consisted of 7 to 10 sessions. Overall 189 patients suffering from vegetovascular dystonia were examined.
