Purpose: In this paper, we describe an algebraic reconstruction algorithm with a total variation regularization (ART + TV) based on the Superimposed Wavefront Imaging of Diffraction-enhanced X-rays (SWIDeX) method to effectively reduce the number of projections required for differential phase-contrast CT reconstruction.
Methods: SWIDeX is a technique that uses a Laue-case Si analyzer with closely spaced scintillator to generate second derivative phase-contrast images with high contrast of a subject. When the projections obtained by this technique are reconstructed, a Laplacian phase-contrast tomographic image with higher sparsity than the original physical distribution of the subject can be obtained.
We herein describe a patient with non-small-cell lung cancer who achieved pCR with a single dose of pembrolizumab-based chemoimmunotherapy followed by surgery. A 61-year-old man was referred to our hospital with wheezing and an abnormal chest shadow. Squamous cell carcinoma of the left lower lobe, cT2aN1M0 stage IIB, was diagnosed and pembrolizumab-based chemoimmunotherapy was initiated at the patient's request.

This is particularly true for patients with severe calcification, poor run-off in below-the-knee arteries, or limited access sites, where even guidewire (GW) passage can be difficult and bidirectional approaches are often not feasible. The tip-detection (TD) method has been reported as a useful technique in coronary artery CTO interventions, allowing real-time visualization of the GW tip direction.

In patients with severe ALI and multiple morbidities, surgical revascularization is not feasible; however, endovascular revascularization (EVR) may be an option. This study aimed to examine 1-year clinical outcomes of EVR in patients with ALI and determine prognostic factors.
