Implementing measures by the European countries within the framework of the ratification of the Paris Climate Agreement should ensure an enlarged share in energy production from alternative energy sources and the introduction of new alternative energy capacities, which would provide an annual decrease in carbon dioxide emissions growth rate, reduce anthropogenic pressure on the natural environment and the use of non-renewable natural resources while preserving biodiversity. This paper aims at forming a system of indicators of sustainable transformation of the energy sector and studying their influence on the policy of environmental-oriented development. The paper applies Ward's method for determining the optimal cluster number and discriminant analysis for checking which variables significantly influence the formation of countries' clusters.

Unlabelled: Glioma cell cultures are used in basic researches of tumor processes, personalized medicine for selecting treatment regimens depending on individual characteristics of patients and pharmacology for assessing the effectiveness of chemotherapy. Suppression of glioma culture growth without reduction of malignancy grade is common. Drug cancellation may be followed by substitution of precursor cells by more malignant clones.

Late initiation of Dox-PLGA therapy of glioblastoma showed an increase in the expression of multiple drug resistance genes, such as Abcb1b and Mgmt, and a decrease in Sox2 expression. Increased expression of other oncogenes (Melk, Wnt3, Gdnf, and Pdgfra) were observed during both Dox and Dox-PLGA therapy.

The decline in cognition and the development of dementia may be caused by predisposing or trigger factors. There is no consensus over whether the drop in estrogen levels after menopause is a risk factor for cognitive decline and dementia.

In this research, we have tested several combinations of factors to affect both total cell cultures, derived from tumor tissue of patients after surgical resection and two subfractions of this cell culture after dividing them into CD133-enriched and CD133-depleted populations (assuming CD133 to be a marker of glioblastoma stem-like cells). CD133 and CD133 cells exhibit different responses to the same combinations of factors; CD133 cells have stem-like properties and are more resistant.
