Intensive technology Pacific white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) culture has been applied in Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi Province, but information on the performance of Pacific white shrimp culture and the land characteristics or environment of the pond has not yet been obtained. The research purposes are to find out the performance and the land characteristics or environment of Pacific white shrimp culture intensive technology to serve as a basis for determining the culture development. Five transects perpendicular to the shoreline and three transects parallel to the coastline, or 15 water sample stations, were identified in the field.

Article Synopsis
  • The study compared the effectiveness and safety of atherectomy followed by drug-coated balloon angioplasty (A-DCB) against drug-coated balloon (DCB) angioplasty alone for treating lower extremity artery disease (LEAD) and aimed to assess primary patency and target lesion revascularization (TLR).
  • A total of 15 studies involving 1,385 participants showed that A-DCB significantly improved primary patency and reduced the risk of TLR compared to DCB alone, with specific types of atherectomy (directional, rotational, and laser) providing notable benefits.
  • Secondary outcomes revealed that A-DCB was linked

Himalayan 'Ecotone' temperate conifer forest is the cradle of life for human survival and wildlife existence. In spite of the importance of these areas, they have not been studied in depth. This study aimed to quantify the floristic structure, important value index (IVI), topographic and edaphic variables between 2019 and 2020 utilizing circular quadrant method (10 m x 10 m).

CeO nanoparticles (nanoceria) were proposed as an alternative physical sunscreen agent with antioxidant properties and comparable UV absorption performance. Green synthesis of nanoceria with Ag and Ni dopants resulted in doped nanoceria with lower catalytic activity and biologically-safe characteristics. The doped nanoceria was characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Rancimat Instrument, and UV-Vis Spectrophotometer for SPF (Sun Protection Factor) determination.

Objective: This research was conducted to assess access to assisted reproductive technologies (ART) and the current status of the in vitro fertilization (IVF) program that have been implemented in Indonesia over the last 10 years.

Methods: We established a retrospective cohort study and descriptive analysis of the current state of access to infertility care in Indonesia. The data were collected from all IVF centers, clinics, and hospitals in Indonesia from 2011 to 2020, including the number of IVF clinics, total ART cycles, retrieved fresh and frozen embryos, average age of IVF patients, IVF pregnancy rate, and causes of infertility.
