Although electronic health record optimization programs are common in healthcare organizations, a dearth of published evaluations of these programs exists. Little is known about the ability of optimization programs to handle flooding requests for change and achieve their objectives of cost savings, value, quality of care, and efficiency. This program evaluation reviewed one organization's electronic health record clinical optimization program.

Honey bees collect nectar of varying sweetness at different flowering plants. Bees discriminate sugar concentration and generally prefer higher concentrations; they encounter floral volatiles as they collect nectar, suggesting that they, like humans, could be susceptible to sweetness enhancement by odorant.

The majority of cases had exposure, preceding illness, or positive SARS-CoV-2 testing 4-8 weeks before MIS-C onset. Serology can help establish epidemiological link to COVID-19 when past infection or exposure are unknown.

By integrating new genetic sequences from multiple studies on Lepidodactylus and incorporating new genetic sequences from previously sampled populations, we recovered a phylogenetic tree that shows a close genetic similarity between the generally hypothesized paternal hybrid ancestor and a recently described species from Maluku (Indonesia), Lepidodactylus pantai. Our results suggest that the paternal hybrid ancestor of at least one parthenogenetic clone of L.

There is a lack of clarity on how Program Director (PDs)/Associate PDs (APDs) are effectively implementing milestones assessment and evaluation practices in the Graduate Medical Education programs. The purpose of this study was to investigate current assessment practices, needs, and challenges of PDs in implementing milestones assessment within their residency and fellowship programs in a pediatric hospital setting.
