Background: The Finnish Geriatric Intervention Study to Prevent Cognitive Impairment and Disability (FINGER) multimodal lifestyle intervention yielded cognitive and other health benefits in older adults at risk of cognitive decline. The two-year multinational randomized controlled LETHE trial evaluates the feasibility of a digitally supported, adapted FINGER intervention among at-risk older adults. Technology is used to complement in-person activities, streamline the intervention delivery, personalize recommendations, and collect digital biomarkers.

Application of the openEHR reference model for PGHD: A case study on the DH-Convener initiative.

Objectives: Patient-Generated Health Data (PGHD) is increasingly influential in therapy and diagnostic decisions. PGHD should be integrated into electronic health records (EHR) to maximize its utility. This study evaluates the openEHR Reference Model (RM) compatibility with the DH-Convener initiative's modules (Data Collection Module and Data Connector Module) as a potential concept for standardizing PGHD across wearable health devices, focusing on achieving interoperability.

Event-related potentials of stimuli inhibition and access in cross-modal distractor-induced blindness.

Distractor-induced blindness (DIB) describes a reduced access to a cued visual target-if multiple target-like distractors have been presented beforehand. Previous ERP data suggest a cumulative frontal inhibition triggered by distractors, which affects the updating process of the upcoming target. In the present study, we examine whether the modality of the cue-formerly defined in the visual domain-affects the expression of these neural signatures.

The Digital Platform and Its Emerging Role in Decentralized Clinical Trials.

Digital clinical trial platforms are software environments where users complete designated clinical trial tasks, providing investigators and trial participants with efficient tools to support trial activities and streamline trial processes. In particular, digital platforms with a modular architecture lend themselves to DCTs, where individual trial activities can correspond to specific platform modules.
