Venetoclax plus azacitidine treatment is clinically beneficial for elderly and unfit acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients. However, the treatment is rarely curative, and relapse due to resistant disease eventually emerges. Since no current clinically feasible treatments are known to be effective at the state of acquired venetoclax resistance, this is becoming a major challenge in AML treatment.

Diagnosis relies on histopathological evaluation of affected tissue, demanding comprehensive tools. In this retrospective case study, Fourier transform infrared microscopy was explored for detecting and identifying CE through biochemical changes in human tissue sections.

This then leads to the maturation of IL-1β and the formation of gasdermin D (GSDMD) pores that initiate pyroptosis and mediate IL-1β release. In contrast, primary human monocytes also engage an alternative pathway in response to toll-like receptor (TLR) 4 activation, without the need for a secondary signal.

We could show that using a deep learning approach to analyze MIR hyperspectral data obtained from benign and malignant lymph node pathology results in high accuracy for correct classification, learning the distinct region of 3900 to 850 cm . The accuracy is above 95% for every pair of malignant lymphoid tissue and still above 90% for the distinction between benign and malignant lymphoid tissue for binary classification.

However, data on healthy older adults are scarce. Therefore, data on body composition, physical performance and macronutrient intake from older adults (n = 326, 59.
