RNA N6-methyladenosine (m6A) plays diverse roles in RNA metabolism and its deregulation contributes to tumor initiation and progression. Clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) is characterized by near ubiquitous loss of followed by mutations in epigenetic regulators , , and . Mutations in , a histone H3 lysine 36 trimethylase (H3K36me3), are associated with reduced survival, greater metastatic propensity, and metabolic reprogramming.

This approach is particularly valuable in understanding diverse immune responses to disease by environmental exposures. This study investigates the inflammatory responses to acute exposures to mainstream cigarette smoke (CS) and environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) in two genetically diverse mouse strains, CC002/UncJ (UNC) & Diversity Outbred (J:DO).

We compared exosomal miRNA profiles between exclusive e-cigarette users and non-users. We used plasma samples from 15 exclusive e-cigarette users and 15 non-users from the Population Assessment of Tobacco and Health (PATH) Wave 1 study (2013-2014) and sequenced miRNAs with Illumina NextSeq 500/550.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFA straightforward one-step hydrothermal method is introduced for synthesizing highly efficient red fluorescence carbon dots (R-CQDs), utilizing Heena leaf (Lawsonia inermis) powder as the carbon precursor. The resulting R-CQDs exhibit excitation at 540 nm and emission at 675 nm, a high absolute photoluminescence (PL) with quantum yield of 40% in ethanol. Various physicochemical characterization was employed to confirm successful formation of R-CQDs including UV-Vis Spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) Spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction Spectroscopy, Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy.

Historiography is a vital perspective of our scientific literature that charts the evolution of scientific publishing, from its early origins to the present status. The key transformations including the shift from a limited self-published legacy to specialized and professional peer-reviewed journals, the impact of technological advancements, and the emergence of new profitable business models are learning points for the future course and couture. Science is pursued and persevered by real humans in social and cultural contexts and not in isolation of laboratories or clinics.
