With the rise of the clean beauty trend in the cosmetics and personal care industry, consumers' interest in cosmetic ingredients, especially preservatives, continues to grow. Paraben, previously the most used preservative in cosmetics, has been excluded from many products owing to its potential risks. Therefore, a movement to lower the content of various preservatives is ongoing.

However, traditional convolutional neural networks (CNNs) struggle to balance fine-grained local detail with large-scale contextual information. To tackle these challenges, we combine large-kernel convolutions, attention mechanisms, and multi-scale feature fusion to form a novel LKAFFNet framework that introduces the following three key modules: LkResNet, which enhances feature extraction through parameterizable large-kernel convolutions; Large-Kernel Attention Aggregation (LKAA), integrating spatial and channel attention; and Channel Difference Features Shift Fusion (CDFSF), which enables efficient multi-scale feature fusion.

It is important to conduct studies to determine the optimal conditions for achieving the maximum yield while maintaining the optimal differentiation capacity of TMSCs.
Methods: This study explores the impact of serial subculture on TMSCs by analyzing gene expression at passages 2, 4, 6, and 8.
Introduction: T-lymphopenia (TLP) is a frequently observed condition in cancer patients, often exacerbated by conventional chemo/radiotherapy, which impairs the efficacy of subsequent immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) therapy. This study aimed to understand the impact of TLP on ICB responsiveness and explore potential therapeutic strategies to enhance antitumor immunity.
Methods: To investigate ICB responsiveness depending on the severity of TLP, first, we established TLP mouse models that mimic clinically observed mild and severe TLP through thymectomy and anti-Thy1-induced peripheral T cell depletion.
Perovskite solar cells have been of great interest over the past decade, reaching a remarkable power conversion efficiency of 26.7%, which is comparable to best performing silicon devices. Moreover, the capability of perovskite solar cells to be solution-processed at low cost makes them an ideal candidate for future photovoltaic systems that could replace expensive silicon and III-V systems.
