Here, we assessed the impact of advanced Aβ pathology on spatial information processing in the medial entorhinal cortex (MEC) of 18-month knock-in (APP KI) mice as they explored contextually novel and familiar open field arenas in a two-day, four-session recording paradigm.

Increasing Incidence of Coronary Artery Disease in Younger Men: Case Study of a 39-Year-Old.

Coronary artery disease (CAD) is the leading cause of death globally. While it is usually diagnosed after years of declining health or after a myocardial infarction (MI), we found that patients can be asymptomatic, posing a latent and life-threatening risk. We present the case of a man less than 40 years old, in whom heart disease was incidentally discovered during a CT scan performed for an unrelated condition.

Combined Fluorescein and Methylene Blue Dye for Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy in Patients of Early Carcinoma Breast: A Promising Technique.

Sentinel lymph node biopsy is currently the gold standard for clinically node-negative patients of carcinoma breast. Fluorescein is a safe, low-cost agent, and easily available. Fluorescein has shown a promising role in sentinel lymph node evaluation in carcinoma breast in combination with methylene blue dye with a detection rate of more than 90% and a false-negative rate of less than 10% in previous studies.
