Introduction: In aviation, exceptional visual perception is crucial for pilots to monitor flight instruments and respond swiftly to deviations, as well as make rapid judgments regarding environmental changes, ensuring aviation safety. However, existing research on pilots' visual perception has predominantly focused on behavioral observations, with limited exploration of the neurophysiological mechanisms involved.
Methods: This study aimed to investigate the brain activity associated with the visual perception capabilities of flight cadets.
A new bamboo species, , from Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province, China, is described and illustrated in this paper. The new species resembles and in having branchlets specialised into weak thorns at the lower nodes of culms, but can be easily distinguished from the latter two by having one or two extremely shortened internodes at the culm base, glabrous internode, culm leaf sheath being dark brown strigose on the central part and with a nearly truncate or slightly obliquely truncate apex, relatively high culm leaf ligule, culm leaf blade base not narrowed, extending outwards and contiguous with auricles and the glabrous foliage leaf with a ciliate ligule margin.

Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a chronic inflammatory disease with an increasing prevalence worldwide. Naringenin (NAR) has been proven effective in preventing UC, but its mechanism has not been fully elucidated. In this study, network pharmacology and bioinformatics methods are used to screen the genes associated with NAR and UC.

This increased flexibility was confirmed by the higher release of water-soluble peptides during trypsin hydrolysis. Self-assembled flexible zein nanoparticles (FZNPs) were prepared using the anti-solvent precipitation method.

Using bioinformatics and metabolomics, we characterize microbial diversity and metabolic variations to understand flavor development. A total of 1490 bacterial and 1158 fungal operational taxonomic units (OTUs) were identified.
