Purpose: Anti-programmed cell death 1 (PD1) is the first-choice treatment in patients with advanced cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC), when curative options are unavailable. However, reliable biomarkers for patient selection are still lacking.

Experimental Design: In this translational study, clinical annotations, tissue and liquid biopsies were acquired to investigate the association between sustained objective responses and transcriptional profiles, immune cell dynamics in tumor tissue and peripheral blood samples, as well as circulating cytokine levels.

Screening and surveillance practices for Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia type 1-related Neuroendocrine Tumours in European Neuroendocrine Tumor Society Centers of Excellence (ENETS CoE)-An ENETS MEN1 task force questionnaire study.

Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia type 1 (MEN1) Clinical Practice Guidelines (2012) are predominantly based on expert opinion due to limited available evidence at the time, leaving room for interpretation and variation in practices. Evidence on the natural course of MEN1-related neuroendocrine tumours (NET) and the value of screening programs has increased and new imaging techniques have emerged. The aim of this study is to provide insight in the current practices of screening and surveillance for MEN1-related NETs in ENETS Centers of Excellence (CoEs).

Antioxidant Scavenging of the Superoxide Radical by Yerba Mate ( and Black Tea Plus Caffeic and Chlorogenic Acids, as Shown via DFT and Hydrodynamic Voltammetry.

We describe the antioxidant capability of scavenging the superoxide radical of several tea and yerba mate samples using rotating ring-disk electrochemistry (RRDE). We directly measured superoxide concentrations and detected their decrease upon the addition of an antioxidant to the electrochemical cell. We studied two varieties of yerba mate, two varieties of black tea from Bangladesh, a sample of Pu-erh tea from China, and two components, caffeic acid and chlorogenic acid.

Perceptions of patients and their relatives about schadenfreude towards doctors.

Background: Violence in healthcare is a global issue that healthcare professionals experience. The concerning increase in violent incidents in Turkiye particularly makes it a significant problem to explore by examining the underlying psychological factors. In this sense, this study focuses on the concept of Schadenfreude, the malicious joy of someone else's misfortune, towards doctors, which is an under-researched topic in healthcare violence.
