Multiple sclerosis (MS) predominantly affects women of childbearing age, significantly impacting their quality of life (QOL). The diagnosis of MS can influence pregnancy intention, and the level of disability associated with MS may change before and after pregnancy. This study aims to analyze the reproductive characteristics of Iranian female patients with MS (PwMS) and their association with the Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS) and pregnancy tendency, providing valuable insights into disease progression and the development of tailored treatments.

The synthetic protocol was designed to obtain a series of spirooxindole derivatives incorporating triazolyl--triazine framework via [3 + 2] cycloaddition (32CA) reaction of azomethine ylide ( with the corresponding chalcones . Unexpectedly, the reaction underwent an alternate route, leading to the cleavage of the s-triazine moiety and yielding a series of spirooxindole derivatives incorporating a triazole motif.

The Canary Current Large Marine Ecosystem (CCLME) is one of the most productive Large Marine Ecosystems worldwide. Assessing the abundance, biomass and distribution of zooplankton in the southern part of this system, off the coast of West Africa, remains challenging due to limited sampling efforts and data availability. However, zooplankton is of primary importance for pelagic ecosystem functioning.
