Background: Workplace sexual violence against women is a pressing global issue with scarce knowledge on its health implications. Existing research is largely limited to specific occupations, which calls for comprehensive, population-based studies. This study aimed to examine the associations between self-labelled workplace sexual violence and a variety of health outcomes in a nationally representative sample of Icelandic women aged 18-69 years.

The aim of the study was to describe the risk of malnutrition, body mass index (BMI) and vitamin D status of hospitalised COVID-19 patients and assess whether they are associated with duration of hospital stay, intensive care unit (ICU) admission, mechanical ventilation, and mortality.
Methods: The study is a descriptive retrospective study of 273 patients with COVID-19 admitted to Hospital from February 2020 to March 2021.
Objective: Twin pregnancies are associated with increased antepartum and intrapartum risks. Limited multiple embryo transfers are associated with decreased twin birth rates. We aimed to study the effect of 2009 Icelandic regulations on twin birth rates and examine obstetric intervention rates for twin births during the study period.

Although the studies reporting these observations are compelling, most of them lack statistical power. We assessed the nature, pattern, and frequency of SNPs in 24 candidate genes in Iceland and looked for associations with asthma and atopy.

Of 55 isolates altogether, subgenus C (Ad1, Ad2, and Ad5) predominated with 42 isolates followed by subgenus B (Ad3 and Ad7) with 12. Analysis of the 9 Ad1 isolates revealed 6 DNA-variants.
