Objective: This paper aims to explore nurses' experiences with ad-hoc patient education (AHPE) in an acute inpatient setting.

Methods: We conducted nine focus groups with 34 nurses. Data was analysed using thematic analysis and the social-ecological model (SEM).

Introduction: Anemia is a common comorbidity of chronic kidney disease (CKD) that has been associated with increased risk of complications, healthcare expenditure, and reduced quality of life. In China, the treatment of anemia of CKD has been reported to be suboptimal in part because of a lack of awareness of the condition and its management. It is therefore important to raise awareness of the condition by estimating the future health and economic burden of anemia of CKD and also to understand how it may be addressed through proactive policies.

Interprofessional Paediatric High-Fidelity Simulation Training: A Mixed Methods Study of Experiences and Readiness among Nursing and Medical Students.

Background: Training in communication skills between nursing and medical students during interprofessional paediatric emergency simulation training represents a significant aspect of safe patient care. Evidence highlights that poor communication in paediatric emergency scenarios jeopardises patient safety. Through realistic simulations, students practice the communication strategies of crisis resource management (CRM), such as "closed-loop communication", "speaking up", and "team time-out".
