Aim: In early-stage breast cancer, the axillary lymph nodes play a crucial role in determining the prognosis of the disease. The rate of lymph node involvement might be a more valuable prognostic factor than the number of positive lymph nodes. Therefore, we aimed to evaluate whether the lymph node ratio (LNR) is a superior prognostic indicator compared to the pathologic lymph node count in early-stage disease.

Objective: The aim of the idiopathic granulomatous mastitis (IGM) consensus study was to evaluate the etiology, diagnostic steps, and differential diagnosis and propose a widely accepted clinical classification of this mysterious breast disease.

Method: The organization of a national IGM consensus was decided by the joint evaluation of the Turkish Federation of Breast Diseases Societies, SENATURK, and the Society of Breast Surgery. Objectives: We aimed to assess first degree relatives (FDRs) of BD patients for the presence of clinical symptoms and signs of BD and evaluate common femoral vein (CFV) wall thickness measurement for the diagnosis.

Methods: Patients with BD(n=129) and FDRs(n=230) of these patients were included. FDRs were questioned in terms of BD symptoms by phone.
