The Diagnostic Value of CT Scan in Identifying Adenoid Hypertrophy in Adults: A Case Report.

The utility of computed tomography (CT) scan in diagnosing adenoid hyperplasia in adults. A 22-year-old woman presented with persistent bilateral nasal obstruction, anterior nasal discharge, mouth breathing, and snoring over the past three months. Despite attempts with both local and systemic decongestants, there was no improvement, and flexible nasopharyngoscopy could not be conducted.

Paediatric obesity diagnosis and intervention practices in Australian hospitals - Australia-wide survey.

Aim: Previous studies suggest a lack of a unified approach in identifying and addressing children with obesity while being inpatients in individual Australian hospitals. Our study aimed to describe current clinical practice across Australia and identify discrepancies that can aid in developing a more unified response to children identified with obesity as hospital inpatients.

Methods: A cross-sectional exploratory online survey was distributed to major paediatric in-patient departments in Australia, with a response rate of 68%.

Labor Pains: Work-Related Barriers to Access to Health Care for People Living with HIV in Hyderabad, India.

To explore themes regarding work-related barriers to access to health care, we conducted 32 interviews, 16 with third gender people and 16 with cisgender women, all of whom were all living with HIV in Hyderabad, India. Most respondents were members of Dalit castes and had been living with HIV for several years at the time of the interview. Using thematic content analysis, interviews were coded by two researchers using a social determinants of health conceptual framework.
