RNA-based agents (siRNA, miRNA, and mRNA) can selectively manipulate gene expression/proteins and are set to revolutionize a variety of disease treatments. Nanoparticle (NP) platforms have been developed to deliver functional mRNA or siRNA inside cells to overcome their inherent limitations. Recent studies have focused on siRNA to knock down proteins causing drug resistance or mRNA technology to introduce tumor suppressors.

Cardiac rehabilitation (CR) is a structured intervention aimed at improving the clinical outcomes for patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). This systematic review assesses how well different types of CR, such as high-intensity interval training (HIIT), moderate-intensity continuous training (MICT), Nordic walking (NW), and home-based cardiac rehabilitation (HBCR), improve exercise capacity, quality of life, and lower death and illness rates. The objective is to assess the effectiveness of cardiovascular rehabilitation programs in enhancing clinical outcomes for patients diagnosed with CAD.

Background: Cocaine use (CU) is prevalent in people with HIV (PWH). Both conditions are linked to changes in cognitive functioning and neural network topology. The current study utilizes graph theory to investigate functional connectomics associated with HIV and CU, focusing on disruption of densely connected nodes called hubs.

  • - Key diagnostic criteria include eye-related issues, choroiditis, tinnitus, meningitis, and skin color changes, with treatments largely involving corticosteroids and immunosuppressants.
  • - The disease is more prevalent in East Asia and India, shows genetic links, and proper management requires prompt diagnosis and treatment, with ongoing research needed to improve patient outcomes.
