Introduction: Spinal cord arteriovenous malformations (SCAVM) are rare congenital vascular malformations, characterized by two or more AVMs affecting any of the spinal segments. SCAVM has complex pathophysiology and may be associated with acute, or progressively neurological deficits.

Case Presentation: A 12-year old girl, presented with progressive neurologic deficits secondary to compressive cervical myelopathy due to a cervical metameric SCAVM.

Introduction: Vitiligo is a skin disease affecting melanocytes, characterised by the development of depigmented skin lesions.

Methods: We used bibliometric analysis (BA) to identify high-quality research articles on vitiligo using criteria such as total citations, annual citations (AC) and journal impact factors. We extracted the 100 most-cited articles on vitiligo using the Web of Science database and analysed the results using Microsoft Excel 2019.

While executive functions (EFs) have traditionally been linked to the cerebral cortex, our understanding of EFs has evolved with increasing evidence pointing to the involvement of cortico-subcortical networks. Despite the importance of investigating EFs within this broader context, the functional contributions of subcortical regions to these processes remain largely unexplored. This study addresses this gap by specifically examining the involvement of subcortical regions in executive inhibition, as measured by the classic Eriksen flanker task.
