Background: The results of the morphological study of the minor salivary glands can be used to assess the activity of the primary Sjogren's syndrome and to decide on adequate therapy. The existing protocol of The Sjögren's International Clinical Collaborative Alliance (SICCA) prescribes the methodology for examining biopsy specimens for suspected Sjögren's disease, however, experts interpret data from the analysis of histological preparations differently.
Objective: To identify morphological forms of sialadenitis, as well as to determine the focus score in Russian patients based on the retrospective analysis of minor salivary glands biopsies of patients with primary Sjogren's syndrome.

Sjogren's disease (BS) is a systemic autoimmune disease, the main symptoms of which are associated with dry eyes, mouth, skin, respiratory and gastrointestinal tract, etc., but there are a large number of extra-vascular symptoms that can accompany this disease: weakness, swelling of the lymph nodes, respiratory failure, pain and swelling of the joints, rash, dysphagia, gastro-esophageal reflux, lymphoma, etc. In addition, the etiology of this disease remains unknown, and the pathogenesis is partially studied.

Aim: To study demographic, clinical, laboratory and immunological characteristics of patients with a combination of primary Sjogrens syndrome (pSS) and SSc and diagnosed lymphoproliferative diseases (LPDs); to characterize morphological/immunomorphological variants and course of non-Hodgkins lymphomas (NHL), developing in patients with these rheumatic diseases (RDs).
Materials And Methods: In 19982018 at the Nasonova Research Institute of Rheumatology, 13 patients with clinical and laboratory manifestations of pSS (12) and SSc (13) were diagnosed with various lymphoproliferative diseases (LPDs).
The peculiar features of T-cell large granular lymphocytic leukemia (T-LGLL) are its association with autoimmune disorders (particularly with rheumatoid arthritis (RA)) and a broad spectrum of B-cell lymphoproliferative disorders. However, association of T-LGLL with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is extremely rare. Here, we describe a case of an 80-year-old man admitted with suspected Felty's syndrome.

Increased activity of cytokines, especially interleukin-6, leads to systemic inflammatory symptoms with the development of lymphadenopathy and rarely extranodal lesions. Histological changes in the lymph nodesin hyaline vascular and plasma cell variants of Castlemans disease are hardly distinguishable from the pattern of reactive, tumor and IgG4-related lymphadenopathy.
