Cluster bean (Guar) is the major source of industrial gum. Knowledge on the molecular events regulating galactomannan gum accumulation in guar will pave way for accelerated development of gummy guar genotypes. RNA Seq analysis in the immature seeds of contrasting cluster bean genotypes HGS 563 (gum type) and Pusa Navbahar (vegetable type) resulted in the generation of 19,855,490 and 21,488,472 quality reads.

Background: Lanosterol synthase (Oxidosqualene cyclase) is an enzyme, which plays a central role in cholesterol and sterols biosynthesis. Lanosterol synthase drugs are used to lower the level of cholesterol in the blood and treat wide variety of diseases like atherosclerosis, coronary heart diseases etc.

Objective: There is a great interest in the identification of drugs that target this enzyme for anticholesteraemic agent using in silico tools.

Over recent years Dentistry has evolved, and as such, we have been able to make strides in restoring edentulous patients with dental implants. Recently, the specialty of Prosthodontics, in addition to the prosthetic rehabilitation of complex dental patients with fixed, removable, implant, and cosmetic dental needs, has begun to shift into the surgical realm of patient treatment. This report outlines a minimally invasive technique for sinus floor elevation, on the controlled use of drills and osteotomes, while simultaneously placing implants through a guided protocol.

Fructose catabolism starts with phosphorylation of d-fructose to fructose 1-phosphate, which is performed by ketohexokinase (KHK). Fructose metabolism may be the key to understand the long-term consumption of fructose in human's obesity, diabetes and metabolic states in western populations. The inhibition of KHK has medicinally potential roles in fructose metabolism and the metabolic syndrome.
