[Comorbid gastric and duodenal changes in chronic hepatitis C in young patients].

Characteristics of the gastroduodenal zone, frequency of gastric mucosa contamination with Helicobacter pylori (HP) were studied in young patients with chronic hepatitis C (CHC). Affections of the stomach and the duodenum were encountered in 76.3% of CHC patients.

[The diagnosis of Helicobacter infections in patients with gastric and duodenal peptic ulcers].

The results of the study of 33 patients having gastroduodenal peptic ulcer, with 9 of them subjected to surgical treatment, are presented. The diagnostics of Helicobacter infection was made with the use of bacteriological and biochemical assays.
