Procedure: This was a multi-center, descriptive, retrospective study realized over a 10-year period. We systematically recruited all medical reports of patients with histologically confirmed sarcoma.

Patients: In total, 200 patients were included in this study.
Material And Methods: The study was carried out using a multi-detector scanner (SIEMENS Somatom Emotion Excel Edition, 16 bars).

Case Presentation: We report here a case of a 68-year-old obese patient, who has acute small bowel obstruction due to strangulated internal hernia through an appendicular tourniquet. This appendicular tourniquet results from the adhesion between the tip of the appendix and its body.
