The study results are provided of the "Marriage and Family" consulting centres activities: some organizational issues (structure, staff, training of specialists, etc), contingents of visitors, and also some qualitative indices of medical care provided to population. It has been found that "Marriage and Family" consulting centres being the structural subdivisions of ambulatory and outpatient institutions do not have curative and diagnostic facilities and therefore cannot provide a comprehensive examination and treatment of patients seeking care in these institutions. The study provided a foundation for suggesting the ways of improving medico-psychological care to the family.
