Infected aneurysms of the pulmonary artery are a rare consequence of injected drug use. Hemoptysis of pulmonary arterial origin is also infrequent; however, the mortality is as high as 50%. We report here a case of hemoptysis in an intravenous drug user, caused by a pulmonary artery aneurysm due to septic microemboli, originating from a groin abscess.

The purpose of this retrospective study was to identify possible clinical and histopathological differences between the right and left colon carcinomas.
Methods: From 1987-2007, 109 patients with right colon carcinomas (RC group), and 186 patients with left colon carcinomas (LC group) were treated at a single institution.
Objective: The purpose of this study was to explore the thoughts, interpersonal processes, and actions used by nurses who had recently intervened to protect coronary care unit (CCU) patients from potential medical errors.
Methods: The study used semistructured interviews conducted with 18 very experienced CCU nurses in two academic medical centers. Content analysis was used to code and analyze text segments.
A rare case of primary adrenal hydatid cyst is reported in a 56-year-old male. The cyst was discovered incidentally. The only symptom was hypertension.
