Depth completion is widely employed in Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) and Structure from Motion (SfM), which are of great significance to the development of autonomous driving. Recently, the methods based on the fusion of vision transformer (ViT) and convolution have brought the accuracy to a new level. However, there are still two shortcomings that need to be solved.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFA convenient, rapid, and environmentally friendly method, emulsive liquid-liquid microextraction combined with high-performance liquid chromatography, was established to determine phthalic acid esters in tap, river, lake, and sea water. After the method's optimization, we obtained the appropriate volume of the extractant and pure water, the number of strokes, the separation methods, the mass volume fraction of the demulsifier, the demulsifier volume, the sample volume, the salt amount, and the pH conditions. This method requires only 200 μL of heptanoic acid (fatty acid) as the extractant and 75 mg of sodium acetate as demulsifiers for fast microextraction and separation, respectively, avoiding the use of further equipment.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFThe appetite of honeybees for food is crucial to their survival and reproduction, as they sustain their entire colony by collecting pollen and nectar for nutrients. Dopamine, an important neurotransmitter, regulates appetite and satiety. However, how dopamine regulates honeybee foraging behavior remains unexplored.
View Article and Find Full Text PDF(1) Background: Impeded resolution of inflammation contributes substantially to the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease (AD); consequently, resolving inflammation is pivotal to the amelioration of AD pathology. This can potentially be achieved by the treatment with specialized pro-resolving lipid mediators (SPMs), which should resolve neuroinflammation in brains. (2) Methods: Here, we report the histological effects of long-term treatment with an SPM, maresin-like 1 (MarL1), on AD pathogenesis in a transgenic 5xFAD mouse model.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFFoam cell formation is a hallmark of atherosclerosis, yet the cellular complexity within foam cells in human plaques remains unexplored. Here, we integrate published single-cell RNA-sequencing, spatial transcriptomic, and chromatin accessibility sequencing datasets of human atherosclerotic lesions across eight distinct studies. Through this large-scale integration of patient-derived information, we identified foamy macrophages enriched for genes characteristic of the foamy signature.
